With countless tunes you know from the first note, rip-roaring gigs you can count on, and a whole lot of energy you’ll take home with you, BoDeans continue to contribute to the American songbook as a tried-and- true institution. Founded and led by original frontman, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Kurt Neumann, the band’s catalog consists of generational anthems such as “Good Things,” You Don’t Get Much,” “Idaho,” and “Closer To Free,” just to name a few. However, they still reflect the soul and spirit of the modern American experience on their fourteenth full-length offering, 4 The Last Time.

“The music of BoDeans has defined much of my life,” muses Kurt. “I consider myself fortunate to be able to do what I enjoy. I wanted to creatively do something positive for the world instead of just taking from it. So, this is what I’ve chosen to do with my life. The music was always about the blue-collar dream of a better life, and it still is.”

BoDeans emerged out of Waukesha, WI in 1986 with the seminal debut, Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams, produced by T Bone Burnett. Following Outside Looking In [1987], Home [1989], and Black and White [1991], Go Slow Down [1993] yielded “Closer To Free,” which famously served as the theme song for the smash hit television series Party of Five. With a sought-after discography, their music landed hundreds of television and film placements. Meanwhile, they transformed into a proven live phenomenon by supporting the likes of U2, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Tom Petty, The Pretenders, and David Bowie in addition to gracing the bills of Farm Aid, Summerfest, and ACL. Speaking to the group’s legacy, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame permanently entrenched BoDeans in the Midwest Artists exhibit. Most recently, 2017’s Thirteen arrived to widespread acclaim from The Chicago Tribune and Glide Magazine who spotlighted the music’s “understated grace—an attribute that no doubt fuels the steadfast approach Kurt Neumann has employed of his thirty-plus years as a ‘BoDean’.” Along the way, NETFLIX’s The Ranch also utilized over 70 tunes from Kurt, and he launched his own podcast Staring At The World.

The Bad Toupees have been rocking Central Pennsylvania since 1993.  Originally getting together just to "jam" once a month, the criteria for songs of  "instantly recognizable and instantly danceable" resonated with all who heard the Toupees and soon they were packing clubs across the region. The name, Bad Toupees, came from Bo,  the original keyboard player who was the only person in the band who was, as they say, "follicly challenged."

Switch Fu will rock, sway, and mesmerize your soul. No rules. No limits. No boundaries. No single definition. The band is a pantheon of emotions that define music. Formed in late 2015 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Switch Fu set out to create a performance for music lovers. Their combined 100 plus years of blues, funk, soul, and gospel center their sound whether they play punk, country, Motown, or something closer to the vest. As individuals, they have recorded and performed in four countries and recorded music in five decades. Switch Fu is a new experience weaving a tapestry made of the passion of four members: Eric, Jay, Bill and John.

They say some cats are born fantastic; others have fantasy thrust upon them. These guys are somewhere in the middle.

They said it couldn’t be done. Four different songwriters joining forces to form a single band? There was simply no precedent (outside of CSNY, The Beatles, The Traveling Wilburys, The Highwaymen, Monsters of Folk, etc). And yet Fantastic Cat did it anyway, defying the odds and teaming up to record their highly unanticipated debut, The Very Best Of Fantastic Cat. Hailed by Rolling Stone as "a wildly satisfying collection of folk-rock, country, Americana, and good old rock & roll," the album earned the vocal-trading, instrument-swapping collective their national TV debut, sold-out headline dates around the US and Europe, festival performances everywhere from Sundance to Take Root, and a song in the Paramount+ series Tulsa King. In 2023, the unlikely four-piece collaborated with all-star producer Butch Walker on a 50th anniversary recording of Wings’ “Band On The Run,” which prompted even more love from Rolling Stone, who dubbed them “the Harlem Globetrotters of Americana.”

Individually, each member of Fantastic Cat boasts their own impressive resume along with a litany of critical acclaim. Paste declared Don DiLego's latest album a "stunner.” NPR said Anthony D’Amato “sings and writes in the tradition of Bruce Springsteen or Josh Ritter.” Rolling Stone called Brian Dunne’s new record “the sleeper album of the year” and praised Mike Montali’s band, Hollis Brown, as “the soundtrack for a late-night drive through the American heartland.” Collectively, though, the four transcend their respective roots, emerging as a velvet-clad rock and roll cooperative far greater than the sum of its parts.

“The Gathering series is all about building community,” says Carbon Leaf frontman Barry Privett. “It’s a call to look inwards and find what matters, an invitation to reach out and embrace the gifts of human connection.”

That’s no mean feat given the deep divisions that have defined much of the past few years of American life, but Carbon Leaf has always punched above their weight, defying the odds at every turn and redefining what’s possible for a modern indie band in the process. The group’s extraordinary new mini-album, Gathering 2: The Hunting Ground, is no exception. Recorded at the band’s own studio in Richmond, VA, the collection marks the second installment of the group’s four-part Gathering series, which finds the long-running quintet stripping their sound back to its organic, acoustic core as they reckon with our ever-conflicting desires for unity and independence. The songs here are gutsy and probing, grappling with grief, loss, anger, and pain, and the arrangements are aggressive and insistent to match, fueled by layers of relentlessly strummed guitars, rolling banjo, and lush fiddle. The result is a moving, cathartic collection that’s unafraid to confront darkness and doubt head on, a poignant, revelatory record all about the power of self-reflection and the ties that bind.

Early on, The Clarks were once described as a bunch of out of tune country hicks. The band took irreverent offense to the comments, saying they were never country hicks. Eleven studio albums and a couple of guitar tuners later, The Clarks have struck again with Madly In Love At The End Of The World, a lively ride down a rural lane, laced with love, mourning, and questions about where it all goes from here.

The band recorded the eleven song album in a converted A-frame church, which helped highlight a series of warm, rock and Alt-Country tunes. The four original members, Scott Blasey (vocals, acoustic guitar), Rob James (6 and 12-string electric guitars, vocals), Greg Joseph (bass, vocals) and David Minarik (drums, vocals) are joined by fellow touring mates Gary Jacob, Skip Sanders and Noah Minarik, tossing out some spanking pedal steel, Hammond organ and tasty guitar. “We’ve never had more fun composing and recording songs,” says bass player Greg Joseph. “With our storied recording history, it’s really heartening to know that music can still captivate the band as much as it has on this album.”

With a highlight reel that includes the Late Show with David Letterman, The Simpsons, and others, The Clarks are enjoying their stage time together now more than ever. “It’s one big extended family,” says guitarist Rob James. “Dave’s son Noah plays on this album, and with us live, so saying that isn’t just a metaphor, it’s fact!” Singing and playing the songs of Madly In Love At The End Of The World has rekindled a fire in The Clarks’ sometimes broken, sometimes mended hearts.

The Clarks are:

Scott Blasey: Lead Vocals, Electric & Acoustic Guitars

Robert James: Electric & Acoustic Guitars, Vocals

Greg Joseph: Bass Guitar, Vocals

Dave Minarik: Drums, Vocals

After finishing in 2nd place in a nationwide competition (where the finals were held on Music Row in Nashville), Cold Spring Union was told that they are "too rock to be country, and too country to be rock."

The band has embraced this as their mantra--making claims to the "alt-country" genre and what they're calling "Americana Progressive Rock."  Their sound has grit; their original music is timeless; and, their talent is unmatched!

Late in the summer of 2018, John Rossey (Guitar/Vocals) began envisioning a new kind of project; one that would remain true to its roots of Americana and country music, and breathe new life into American rock & roll.

John met Brandon Valentine (Drums/Vocals) while working together in a Central Pennsylvania based country group.  As a multi-instrumentalist, he brought an articulate approach to percussion, combining a gifted ear for dynamic songwriting with huge vocal harmonies.

John and Cody Wilt (Guitar/Vocals) had occasionally crossed paths in the greater Harrisburg area while working with other bands as lead guitarists.  Cody recalls first meeting John in a bar in Mechanicsburg: "As soon as he [John] started playing, it was all eyes on him...his tone commanded the room."  At the time, Cody was rotating between bands, but he quickly jumped at the opportunity to join up with John.

While seeking a bassist for the new band, Brandon recommended reaching out to Morgan Stambaugh (Bass/Vocals). Morgan and Brandon were friends through high-school and both studied at the same university--where they played together in multiple groups.  With thundering bass lines, classical training, and an encyclopedia of music production knowledge, Morgan was the final piece in establishing a solid lineup that would later become Cold Spring Union.

Within just a few weeks of forming, Cold Spring Union was performing at BIG venues and festivals (including The Citadel Country Spirit Music Festival in 2018).  The band has opened for countless national acts including:  Alabama, Old Dominion, Shooter Jennings, Eli Young Band, Dustin Lynch, Brett Young, Cassadee Pope, Mitchell Tenpenny, Chris Lane, Ward Hayden and the Outliers, Austin Lucas, Grammy-winner Sam Bush and more!

Like Frankenstein, Hockersville Station was formed from the good parts of other bands to create a semi-scary, but lovable entity. The band has its own distinct sound thanks to the vocals and guitar of Mike Gingrich, and the classical-influenced violin from Lina Yang. They lean heavy on the Alt-Country influences of Jason Isbell, The Jayhawks, The Old 97’s and The Decemberists.

Blitz Dynette is a soul band, nothing more, nothing less. Formed in the late 80’s as a 5-piece unit to showcase original material by some current and former members, the band began to hit its stride as a performance vehicle and added horns in the early 90’s.

Blitz has recorded three studio albums. The band is unique because commercial success (read financial success) was not the initial goal. This is an 8-piece band with one focus, play the songs they want to play as well as they can play them.

The band features a strong rhythm section, tight horn interplay and soulful vocals. The song list boasts a fair amount of originals and stylized covers.

Every current member is a veteran of both stage and studio.

Box of Rain is the classic six piece that pays tribute to the finest and most prolific period of the Grateful Dead, 1968-’74.

Based in Philadelphia PA

Featuring a revolving, all star lineup with current and former members of Dark Star Orchestra, Living Earth, Zen Tricksters and Dead On Live, BOX OF RAIN channels the sound and magic that could have only happened at that special time.

And what a time it was…the Dead were at the height of both their songwriting and improvisational prowess! Featuring an extended Pig Pen presence, one very swingin’ drummer, and the most coherent and visceral space / improvisations, the typical 5-6 hour GD performances were legendary and a trip for sure.

BOX OF RAIN is a true labor of love with Bob Stirner (Living Earth / Boris Garcia) on lead guitar, Craig Privett (Half Step, Jam Stampede) on bass, Mike Kennedy (Living Earth) on guitar, Bud Burroughs (Boris Garcia) on keys, Jon Bernstein (Bears Choice) on harp and Tim Kelley (Boris Garcia) on drums.

The signature riffs, harmonies and underlying parts of the music are all there---along with some fresh twists that are often inspired in the moment. The resulting performances have audiences smiling, singing, dancing and mourning the loss of this great artist.

Rich Kubicz, who plays the role of Tom Petty in the show, has been playing guitar and singing since his early teens. By 2007, so many people had told him that he looked and sounded like Tom Petty that he decided to put together Damn The Torpedoes as a tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

Jon Provan(Ron Blair/Howie Epstein, Bass Guitar and backing vocals)

Jon caught the music bug young, playing and singing in rock bands, a cappella groups, sax quartets, theatre pits, recording studios and more. He’s also laid down his bass groove for many Indie and original bands

Ross Kantor(Stan Lynch/Steve Ferrone...Drums/Percussion and Backing Vocals)

Ross is the quintessential percussionist and the driving force behind DTT's tight rhythm section. His versatility allows him to play with the finesse of Stan Lynch and the power of Steve Ferrone while also adding polished vocals to an already very melodic harmony section.
