The Englewood Private Event Space Guidelines
MENUS
Whether you are having a friends and family celebration or hosting a corporate event, The Englewood offers a selection of menus that are sure to fit your needs. We are also happy to plan a custom menu for your event. Final menu selections are due (10) business days prior to the event date. 20% gratuity applies to all menus.
Plated
Plated meals are best for formal, sit-down lunch and dinner events. We do require advanced meal selections and place cards.Buffet
This option is best for larger groups of people and allows for customization and socializing. Buffets are not all-you-can-eat.Reception
Reception menu items include a selection of butler passed hors d'oeuvres, appetizer stations, and displays. This option is great for those looking to have a social event with mingling.
BEVERAGES
The Englewood has a wide variety of beverage options available from craft beers brewed on-site to Pennsylvania wines and spirits as well as non-alcoholic beverages. Beverage packages must be confirmed (10) business days prior to the event date. 20% gratuity applies to all beverage packages.
No outside beverages are permitted. The Englewood staff must serve all alcoholic beverages.
ADMIN FEE
All private events are subject to a 1.5% admin fee.
Food & Beverage Minimum
In lieu of a rental fee, we impose a Food & Beverage Minimum spend to host your event at The Englewood. If the minimum spend is not met, the remainder will be charged to meet the minimum.
This minimum includes: Use of space for scheduled three (3) hour event time, including 1 hour prior for set up and 30 minutes following for clean up. Event planning with our in house Event Management Team. On-site event host for day of coordination, and exclusive use of the venue space, bar area, tables, chairs & dinnerware.
The minimum does not include tax, gratuity or any charges associated with audio visual needs.

AUDIO/VISUAL SPECIFICATIONS

Stage for Live Band or DJ
Light and Sound Production System Provided by Clair Brothers
All A/V needs must be confirmed and finalized (14) business days prior to the event date. Any hired band or DJ must use The Englewood’s light and sound system.
FINAL GUARANTEE
A final guarantee (guest count) and menu selection are required (10) business days prior to the event date. If no guarantee is received, you will be charged based upon the original estimated guest count as noted on the event proposal.
FINAL PAYMENT
The final food and beverage payment will be due upon the conclusion of the event via one form of payment. All final consumption charges and/or additional food charges will be due upon the conclusion of the event.
DATE CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS
If a situation arises in which you are forced to change the event date, every effort will be made by The Englewood to transfer reservations to support the new date.
If the event has to be cancelled, you agree to cancel 10 days prior to the event date. The initial room rental deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations inside the 10 day period will result in loss of initial room rental deposit and 50% of the anticipated food and beverage revenue.
PARKING
FREE parking is available on-site within our posted hours of operation. Overnight parking is prohibited.
